I absolutely love when my clients suggest places that have sentimental value to their family. Otherwise, my go to locations are The Arboretum & The Ornamental Gardens (ESPECIALLY in the spring/fall) or Andrew Haydon Park. Other suggestions are available based on your location in the city.
The most important thing to is to be comfortable and feel like yourself. I always recommend picking an outfit that you can freely move in! As for colours, my number one rule is no conflicting patterns amongst family members. We can discuss this further via e-mail if you are unsure about your outfit choice.
Rule of thumb for the best lighting outdoors is within 2 hours of sunrise or sunset, which varies throughout the year. That being said, I can make any time of day work if there is enough shade in the location of choice.
My session fee includes immediate family members only (parents and children).
If you are looking to include additional family members (grandparents, aunts, uncles etc) there is an additional cost of $25 per person
I always advocate for shooting in the rain! Bring your raincoats and umbrellas and we can take some really fun family photos.
However, if the weather ends up being too drastic to shoot in (torrential downpours, heat warnings etc) or even if you had your heart set on sunny photos I'm always happy to reschedule your session free of charge.
A 50% non-refundable retainer is due to reserve the date and time of your photo shoot. The remaining balance is due on the date of your session.
Yes, absolutely! My sessions include downloadable high resolution files that you can print wherever you choose.
