How would you describe your shooting style/ approach?
I aspire to capture your day unobtrusively but (if the moment allows) I will provide prompts or posing direction if I notice particularly nice lighting or scenery. Overall I aim for a mixture of candid/authentic imagery mixed with some posed/editorial style shots.
How do we book with you?
Fill out my contact form to ensure your date is available. Then you have the option of setting up either a phone-call, zoom chat or coffee date to ensure we are a good fit and to answer any questions you might have. That being said, some couples prefer to ask questions over e-mail/text/WhatsApp which is totally fine as well! To secure your date, I will ask you to look over and sign a contract and send it back to me with a 50% deposit. The rest is due within 2 weeks of your wedding date. That's it!
Will you be the one photographing our wedding if we book with you?
Yes. I do not hire out associates and personally shoot every session that I'm booked for.
Do you have a second shooter?
I shoot most of (around 80%) of the weddings I book alone. I do hire a second shooter for larger (150+ guest count) weddings but this is not included in my base prices.
What form of payment do you accept?
At the time being my preferred payment is e-transfer or cheque.
How will we receive our photos?
I will e-mail you a link to an online gallery with all of the final edited images. You can download these to your computer or phone in high resolution and share them with your loved ones.
How long do we have to wait for our photos?
For smaller sessions (families/portaits/maternity) I will deliver your photos within 2 weeks.
For weddings, I always provide a sneak peek of 10 photos within 72 hours, and I guarantee the remainder will be delivered within 8-10 weeks after the event, with a sneak peek gallery delivered within 1 week.
How many images will we receive?
Every wedding is different but I can guarantee a minimum of 50 fully edited, high resolution images per hour. I average between 50-75 fully edited images per hour.
For lifestyle sessions (i.e. families, maternity and portraits) you receive 15 images per 20 minutes booked. See the lifestyle pricing guide for more details.
What are your travel fees?
I cover anything within 50km of Ottawa.
I charge a flat rate of 200$ for weddings in PEC and Montreal and 400$ for Toronto.
Do you use flash?
I alternate between natural light and flash at the reception portion of your wedding
